What to Expect

We know that visiting a church for the first time can be stressful.  So let us take some of the “unknown” out of visiting BFCC for you.

Our service times: We have two identical services on Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:45 am.

What are our services like?

We begin our worship services with a time of music and singing.  Our worship music ranges from the newest contemporary worship songs to some oldies but goodies praise songs.  We project all of the words on a screen for you so you don't have to worry about finding the right page in a hymnal.  You can sing and clap, or just sit back and take it all in.  After singing, we usually watch a video that has to do with the message, one of our ministries or a need in our community (or world) that we want to meet.  After the video Pastor John teaches from the Bible for about thirty minutes.  His messages are filled with humor, illustrations and wisdom.  Our services conclude with some more music, announcements and the offering, which you do not have to worry about.  The offering is for our members and regular attenders who regularly support our church and its ministries.  It is just another act of worship to God.  The entire service lasts about 75 minutes.

*We enjoy coffee, juice and munchies together between our two services in our courtyard. Yum!

What should you wear to our services?

Clothes. We expect you to wear clothes. Now the type of clothes is up to you, but you have to wear some clothes! Seriously, we believe that God is much more concerned with your inside than He is with your outward appearance. That being said, wear what you feel comfortable in. We have people who wear shorts and sandals every week. Others wear jeans, and some people like to wear business casual. And, we have some people who like to put on their Sunday best. You wear what you’re comfortable in.

What about your kids?

We have awesome programs for all your kids (infants through high school). Our nursery and preschool are located on the 1st level of our children’s building (The one will the huge KIDSWORLD banner on it). You will find our children's area exceptionally clean and safe for your child. Our Elementary children's area is located on the 2nd floor of our children’s building. Your 1st -5th grader will love our game room and the Kid’s Mo video teaching. Your children will have so much fun they won’t want to go home!  But... you have to pick them up after church. Your teenage students 6th-12th grade will want to try out our youth program (Empower), which meets during the second worship service (10:45-noon). Empower is a high energy, interactive worship experience that takes place in our event center.  It is led by our Student Minister Daniel Chin.
