- Exploring Christianity (Journey 101)
- This class is the basic introduction to ur church family. It is also the first step for those who are interested in becoming members. Some of the topics covered are:
- What does it mean to become a Christian?
- Baptism
- Why am I here?
- How our church is structured
- Our faith statement
- Our attitude toward our beliefs
- What it means to be a member
- Growing Spiritually (Journey 201)
- Spiritual growth is crucial for a follower of Christ, but it takes time to develop the necessary skills. The purpose of this class isto introduce and explain the four habits of spiritual growth: Bible reading, prayer, giving and fellowship.
- Discovering Your Gifts (Journey 301)
- We believe it is vital that every person find how God has uniquely wired him or her to make an impact in a local church setting. This class will help you discover your ministry passion, spiritual gifts and personal style. Following the class, each person is encouraged to meet with a consultant who will try and match the participant with a Bay Farm Church ministry.
- Becoming A Contagious Christian (Journey 401)
- Before He left this earth, Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations. Most believers want to share their faith in Christ, but they don't know how. This class will give you the skills and the confidence to share Christ with those you already know in a relaxed and effective way.
- Good $ense
- Jesus taught that how we use our money is an indication of our values and priorities. Form many of us, organizing our finances according to Biblical Financial Principles can be hindered by the pull of our materialistic culture, a lack of knowledge about wise financial practices, and the need for effective tools to implement them. The Good $ense Budget Seminar is designed to help you discover the peace and contentment that come from managing your financial resources according to God's purposes and principles.
