Bullseye
In the middle of His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught…
“Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:9–10, NLT)
Jesus commanded us to pray for God’s will to be done on earth as it is being done in Heaven because God wants His creation living on earth to submit to Him like His creation in heaven is submitting to Him. The sovereign Lord has a plan and purpose for everyone and everything in His creation and desires that we do His will.
But God does not just want us to live within His will; He wants us to live in the center of His will.
