The Kindness Cycle
Our world is becoming more rude, uncaring, and selfish. Few people value kindness. Why is there a shortage of kindness on earth? One, people are moving so fast that they cannot see or have compassion for those in need. Two, the rise of violent crime and theft has made people afraid of helping strangers. Three, the priority of amassing money and possessions is stopping people from sharing some of their time, energy, and money with others.
What is the answer to the kindness shortage in our world? Christians must show kindness to others and teach recipients of kindness to share it. Christians must practice and teach others to practice Jesus’ Golden Rule - “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and prophets” (Matthew 7:12, NLT).
In this eight-week message series, you will learn what kindness is, what kindness looks like, why Christians should be the kindest people on earth, and what wrong thinking and attitudes you need to change to be a kind person.
